While it may be true that we must winterize our boats and
get off the water during the cold winter months, the shorter boating seasons
come with an added twist, people packing in as much fun on the waters as they
can during season. No one takes the warmer weather for granted.
That means bigger parties, wilder times and carefree living
at its best. When you are in warm weather all the time you tend to not fully
appreciate it. Here is the northern areas, life gets busy when the weather
comes back our way.

As we pack up and store gear for the winter months ahead,
plan out repairs and updates, build up the cruising budget and start looking
toward where we want to go next season, I am thankful for the time on the
water, the friends, the fun, the music, the laughter.
I had planned on spending most the winter months in Costa
Rica on a dive boat, but other obligations at home has changed that, which is
OK. Come next season we will be back out and running on the waters.. Hope to
meet more new friends along the way!
